For over a decade, I have been on a journey to live by primal principles, reconnecting with the way our ancestors lived. For millennia, humans thrived on whole foods, constant movement and a natural lifestyle free from the trappings of modern convenience. However, today’s world is vastly different — filled with desk jobs, ultraprocessed foods, artificial light and long working hours. Despite the advantages of modern life, we have become disconnected from the way we evolved to live.

What is Primal Living?

Primal living is all about returning to basics: eating whole, nutrient-dense foods, moving naturally, spending time outdoors and reducing our exposure to toxins. It is not about abandoning modern life but finding a balance between honouring our evolutionary roots and adapting to today’s realities.

A Modern Take on Ancient Wisdom

In my forthcoming ebook, Primal Living in the UK, I explore how we can incorporate primal principles into our everyday lives. This might mean choosing whole foods over processed ones, managing stress effectively, prioritising sleep or even wearing barefoot-style shoes to mimic natural movement.

But I also recognise the importance of practicality. We live in a world of conveniences and sometimes it’s okay to make compromises — whether that’s using antiperspirant for a job interview or grabbing airport food during travel.

Progress Over Perfection

The goal of primal living isn’t perfection; it’s balance. By aligning our daily habits with ancestral principles, we can improve our health, both physically and mentally, while leaving room for flexibility. It’s about making small, sustainable changes that work for you.

Stay Tuned for More
